Seed of Strength

When women are released from prison or escape a domestic violence relationship and arrive at a shelter or a halfway house, they often receive a plain plastic bag with their belongings. To lift their spirits and make them feel just a little more loved, we provide them with a gently used purse filled with toiletries, makeup, nail polish, sanitary items and a handwritten note of hope.

We provide adopted adults free Ancestry DNA kits to help them with the search for biological families.

Seed of Love

Being a good parent is one of the toughest jobs in the world, and it's almost impossible when you are young, and without the support of family. That is why our Seed of Love Virtual Baby Shower was created to help determined pregnant teenagers secure a brighter, more stable future for themselves and their babies.

Each year we select three teens parents who have little to no support and bless them with the essentials needed to care for their newborn bundles of joy. These items range from pacifiers to cribs and everything in between. It is our hope that by assisting these young parents in this way will allow them to focus on having a healthy pregnancy and provide a great start to their future.

Seed of Joy

Unashamed Inc. sows seeds of Joy to three children of incarcerated parents who are in need. We surprise the families with items to create a holiday meal, a Christmas tree, ornaments and gifts for the children. Each year, Unashamed Inc. collects age-appropriate and requested toys, items, and gift cards for the children and teens supported across programs. For some, we are able to provide one of the only or few presents they will receive that holiday season.

Seed of Success Scholarship

We provide workshops designed for teen youth who need to learn, enhance, or require extra supporting life skills to effectively transition into adulthood. These workshops include Sex Education and prevention, Parenting 101, Money Management, Effective Communication Skills, Hygiene, and much more.

Each workshop is designed to help each youth tap into their hidden potential and discover the gifts, talents, and abilities they have yet to realize, and to acknowledge that their dreams, desires, and purpose are still alive and possible. We will give them the tools and resources they need to imagine themselves beyond their current struggles and fears so they can become equipped to live out the greatest version of themselves.
